A closer look at Manuka honey

Manuka honey is the second of our three signature ingredients and appears in every Thames & Red soap.

Where it comes from

Manuka honey is made by bees that forage on the flowers of the Manuka bush, native to New Zealand. It is known for its rich colour and depth, and has long been prized as a special honey.

Why it is in our soap

We wanted every bar to feel indulgent as well as fragrant. Honey has a long place in both British and Arabian traditions, which made it a natural part of our foundation alongside black seed oil and goat milk.

A small detail

Each product page lists the full ingredients for that soap.

A golden thread through every bar.
